Finding voice and humor at Type-A Mom

1:15 Saturday at Type-A Mom conference
Clay Nichols (Dad Labs) moderated a panel with Jenny Ingram (Jenny on the Spot) and Megan Jordan (Velveteen Mind)

Key take aways and conversations:

Profanity – to cuss or not to curse – that is the question. This is a big deal. There are a lot of bloggers who use profanity. It's a challenge with some companies. Authenticity is very important in bloggers, or any communicator.

Sarcasm does not always translate in plain text. Humor is in the eye of the beholder/blogger. ~ Clay Nichols

The post you don't want to write is the post you really need to write & the voice you want to use is the one you should use. I have one thing to tell you but hear 1000 voices in my head. Stifled voices aren't interesting to read. ~ Megan Jordan

Sex brownies. How do you balance spouses and in-jokes with online conversations? ~ Jenny Ingram
