walmart ep iii dvd is not for me

We'll be back with more this afternoon, but we wanted to check in early with a quick comment on Wal-Mart's exclusive Episode III bonus disc. We've seen it... and while die-hard fans and completists will probably want it, it's not really worth going out of your way for. The disc includes two 30-minute documentaries (4x3, DD 2.0), each hosted/narrated by C3P0 and R2D2. The first, The Story of Anakin Skywalker recaps the events of Episodes I & II. The second, The Story of Luke Skywalker, summarizes the events of Episodes IV, V & VI. They're pretty cheesy, consisting almost entirely of excerpts from the other films. They seem to be targeted at kids, and those adults who need to be Cliff Noted prior to viewing Episode III as a reminder of what's happened so far and what comes next. Just FYI. We've updated our DVD review accordingly.

ok so i guess i won't pay the extra $5 for this tripe. sorry wally-world, i don't like giving you my hard-earned moolah anyway. i know some poser-nerds will be selling this junk on ebay in a matter of minutes. and then it'll be fetching $50 from neo-gnerds in like 10 years, but what are you going to do? i'll just be keeping the buy.com version, that better arrive today. i can't believe it didn't get here on 11-1! buy.com "free" budget shipping moves like a frozen tauntaun. but i did get ALIAS S4! yea! so i finally got to watch the season finale complete with zombies, giant floating red balls, and random doppelganger car crash cliffhanger - oh my! plus it's Syd in her full on kickin' butt pre-preggers secret agent mode - saving the world one last time. shed a little tear. Marshall was right (in a deleted scene), it is "an end of an era, you know?"
